Ananya Panday: Zendaya is phenomenal; ‘Euphoria’ is my favourite show – Times of India

Fresh out of the success of ‘Gehraiyaan‘, Ananya Panday has a lot to look forward to in the months ahead. Not only does she have her pan-India film ‘LIGER‘ slated for its release, but she will also begin work on Zoya Akhtar‘s ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan‘.

Having an A-rated film in her filmography at a young age of 23, ETimes asked the beauty if she thinks she is growing up too fast on-screen. Even Zendaya is winning rave reviews by playing a messed-up teen on the hit series ‘Euphoria‘ at the age of 25, so we asked Ananya if she would want to play such roles.

Unable to hold back her excitement, the actress said, “I am so happy that you spoke about Zendaya because she is phenomenal! Euphoria is my favourite show.”

“As an actor, I don’t want to tie myself down to anything. So I would love to play a character like that,” she adds.

The star has been spotted flying out to the US time and again. When asked if the purpose of the trip was for a possible Hollywood break, Panday said, “I went to the US last to shoot for LIGER. We shot with Mike Tyson there. It was so exciting. That’s all I am going to say about the film right now.”

Before you think that Hollywood is not on the cards for the beauty, she said, “I would be really happy if I get to audition for something. There are so many interesting opportunities to work all over the world. With OTT, the world has become a much smaller place. You have access to so many different kinds of cinema in so many languages. So, why not?”
