android 11: Samsung Galaxy A20 starts receiving Android 11 update in India – Times of India

Consumer electronics giant Samsung has started rolling out Android 11 update for another Galaxy A-Series smartphone. The company has started rolling out Android 11 update for the Samsung Galaxy A20 smartphone.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A20 in India in 2019. The smartphone came with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. Last year the smartphone received Android 10 update and now it has started receiving Android 11 update.
Along with the software update the smartphone also receives the latest layer of UI customisation from Samsung — One UI 3.1. The software update comes with firmware version A205FXXUACUF3 and it also includes the security patch for the month of June 2021.
With the Android 11 update, Samsung Galaxy A20 users will be able to experience features like a default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Samsung Galaxy A20 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A20 comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity V display with 720×1560 pixel resolution.
The device is powered by Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 7884 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The device offers 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy A20 measures 158.4 x 74.7 x 7.8mm and comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup. The rear of the Samsung Galaxy A20 sports a 13MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front of the device is home to an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The handset is backed by a 4000 mAh battery and offers dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
