Anil Kapoor took to his Twitter handle and shared a rare throwback picture of himself with the star. Anupam Kher remembered Poitier with a picture from their 2013 meet and shared, “I had the honour of meeting the legendary actor #SidneyPoitier in early 2013. He was gentle, compassionate and generous with his time for me. We talked about about Indian cinema. He was especially happy to know that I had an acting school. I was over the moon when he said that he would like to visit it one day. He was a fantastic actor, a remarkable person and had a great aura around him!
