Apple MacBook Air with M2 chip available from July 15

Apple unveiled its latest MacBook Air (M2) at its annual developer conference — WWDC 2022. At the time of the launch, the company also announced its price and availability details. The all-new MacBook Air (M2) from Apple is now available for pre-order in India. The interested buyers can pre-book the lightweight laptop from Apple starting today.

Customers can pre-book the Apple MacBook Air (2) starting today at 5.30 pm. The customers who will pre-order the laptop will start receiving it from July 15. Buyers can pre-book the device online from Apple’s website and offline from authorised retailers.
Apple MacBook Air (M2) comes with a starting price tag of Rs 1,19,900. On the other hand, the students and teachers can get the laptop at a discounted price of Rs 1,09,900. The all-new MacBook Air comes in Midnight, Silver, Starlight and Space Grey colour options.

Apple MacBook Air (M2) sports a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with lesser bezels than before. The company claims that the device offers 25% more brightness than the previous-generation model.
The lightweight laptop features an all-aluminIum unibody enclosure and measures just 11.3 millimetres thin weighing 2.7 pounds. Like the M1 MacBook Air, the M2 MacBook Air also features a silent, fanless design.
Apple MacBook Air (M2) houses a more powerful 8-core CPU and up to 10-core GPU, claims Apple. It offers support for up to 24GB of unified memory. MacBook Air supports fast charging for up to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes with an optional 67W USB-C power adapter.
Apple MacBook Air (M2) comes with two Thunderbolt ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack and the MagSafe charging port. The device packs a new 1080p FaceTime HD camera with twice the resolution and low-light performance of the previous generation.
