Assam HS TET 2020 certificate cum mark sheet distribution begins – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Secondary Education Department, Assam will distribute the Certificate cum Mark sheet of Higher Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to all qualified candidates. The Assam TET exam was conducted on January 10, 2021.

The Assam TET Certificate cum Mark sheet will be distributed at the office premise of Inspector of Schools of Barpeta, Bongaigaon Dhubri, Cachar, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Sonitpur, Nagaon, Darrang, Dima Hasao, Bhemaji, Kamrup-Metro, Kokrajhar, Karbi-Anglong and Lahimpur.

Candidates, who have cleared the TET exam, can collect their Certificate cum Mark sheet in the district from which he/she had appeared in the examination. The candidates will have to collect the Certificate cum Mark sheet from the concerned office during office hours on working days following all Covid-19 protocols.

Candidates will have to submit one copy each of his/her Admit Card and online score card for collection of Certificate cum Mark sheet from the office of the Inspector of Schools.

The result of Higher Secondary TET for Post Graduate Teachers was announced on May 22, 2021.

It shall be noted that mere qualification with prescribed marks in the TET examination for Secondary Education shall not confer on any candidate the right to employment as a teacher.

The teachers’ recruitment after TET of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in the provincialised and Government Senior /Higher Secondary School shall be governed by strictly in accordance with the provisions.


Minimum qualifying marks for passing TET


To qualify in TET Examination the candidate must score at least 60% marks in each paper. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PH candidates. The candidate whose degree of physical disability is more than 40% is only eligible to apply, under the PH category.
