Assam leader and Independent MLA Akhil Gogoi walked out of jail after a special NIA court cleared him of all charges. He was accused in two cases under the UAPA, 1967. Gogoi said that after keeping his bag at home, he will visit the parents of “first CAA martyr” Sam Stafford at their residence in Hatigaon area of Guwahati.
