Ayan Mukerji reveals OTT version of Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra’ is different from theatrical – Deets inside – Times of India

Ayan Mukerji recently revealed that the OTT version of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra’ is different from theatrical.

Spilling some beans on the same, Ayan revealed that they continued to work for the digital release. They refined the sound of the film. He added that music composer Pritam came in and cleaned up some bits that were not actually there in the cinema release. Ayan even went back to the edit and added a few nips and tucks. According to him, their team has actually been working up until this point to continue on the film.

Elaborating further, Ayan added that a comment on Alia’s love graph in the film reached out to him. While admitting that the edit for the cinematic release was sharp and did not catch actors’ expressions, the new edits give a smoother graph. The filmmaker added some bits in Shiva and Isha’s love story, Isha’s pull towards Shiva, and a couple of dialogues. Although this is subtle stuff, Ayan believes that it will make the journey of the film a little smoother, he told Bollywood Hungama.

Apart from Alia and Ranbir, ‘Brahmastra’ also featured actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Shah Rukh Khan. The film did a record-breaking business at the box office.
