Boat Iris smartwatch launched in India: Price and features revealed – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Boat is the leading brand in the earwear segment in India and the company is being aggressive in terms of new launches. The company has also gained a lot of traction in the smartwatch segment. In order to further strengthen its position, Boat has now launched a new and affordable smartwatch. Dubbed Boat Iris, the smartwatch comes with a round AMOLED display and comes with leather and silicone straps.

The company has priced the new smartwatch at R 4,999. Customers can purchase the wearable starting today (December 23) from the company’s website. Boat will also be offering a standard 1-year warranty with the smartwatch. The smartwatch comes in Active Black, Flaming Red and Navy-Blue colour options.
Boat Iris: Features
Boat Iris features a 1.39-inch AMOLED round display that promises to offer clear, crisp and sharp reproduction of details. The smartwatch offers support for multiple cloud-based watch faces.
The wearable can be controlled via the Boat Hup app and it comes with a heart rate sensor and SpO2 monitor. The device is also designed to offer notification alerts for events, text, call and email.
Boat Iris also come with 8 different sports modes which include walking, running, cycling, skipping, badminton, basketball, football and swimming. The device also claims to keep track of your daily activity. The smartwatch comes with IP68 rating which makes it dust and water-resistant.
Boat Iris smartwatch promises to offer 7 days of battery backup on a single charge.
