ETimes brings a new segment Bolly Buzz which goes beyond the usual mix of news and gossip to give all its readers a roundup of trending stories of the day.

On July 3, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao ended their 15 years of marriage as they announced their divorce. The couple released a joint statement to announce their divorce and followed it up with a video that saw them holding hands and smiling as they assured, “We are both very happy.”

Their decision to part ways earned all sorts of reactions from fans, family and film industry folk. The most eye-catchy posts came in from director Ram Gopal Varma and Kangana Ranaut who gave their two cents about the divorce. RGV wished them a happy divorce life, saying that such decisions were made out of “knowledge and wisdom …and marriages happen out of ignorance and stupidity”. Kangana, on the other hand, raised her questions about interfaith marriages.

Another estranged Khan couple making headlines again was Imran Khan and wife Avantika Malik. Social media was abuzz trying to decode the meaning behind Avantika’s cryptic post about not running away from one’s problems. “But if these years have taught me anything it is this: You can never run away. Not ever. The only way out is in…” So… Who’s up for a little soul searching?

Almost a week after her husband Raj Kaushal‘s untimely demise, Mandira Bedi shared her first post on Instagram. The actress posted a series of endearing pictures as she reminisced happier times, but now with a broken heart. Silently mourning her hubby’s demise, Mandira previously deleted her profile picture on Instagram and replaced it with a blank black screen.

Priyanka Chopra just raced past every other Bollywood celeb to hit a new high on the Gram. With 65 million followers and counting, she is said to be the most followed desi actress, with only Virat Kohli ahead of her with over 100 million followers.

ETimes spoke to a cardiologist, who is one of the two primary doctors tending to Dilip Saab. He assured that Kumar continues to be stable and added, “we will shift him out from the ICU”. Dilip’s wife Saira Banu also thanked fans for their love and prayers when she shared an update about her husband’s health and said, “Saab theek hain.”
