Bolly Buzz! Lara Dutta on Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming wedding, Deepika Padukone on 25 years of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar reveals how Salman Khan landed his role in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ – Times of India ►

From Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming wedding to Bollywood actresses in line to star with Michele Morrone, Karan Johar revealing how Salman landed his role in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and more, here’s all the recent update on the entertainment front.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s big fat wedding we have all been waiting for may finally take place this year. Well, at least that’s what Lara Dutta seems to think. The actress was quizzed about her knowledge about hot celeb couples. While admitting that she didn’t know if some were still together or not, she had some fair idea of Ranbir and Alia’s status. She said, ‘I believe that they are getting married this year.’

Michele Morrone might soon come to India to shoot for a music video that will also feature a Bollywood heroine. Buzz is that Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and Jacqueline Fernandez are in the running to star alongside the ‘365 Days’ actor. It is being said that either one or two of these four beauties will bag the project. According to our sources, “Plans are afoot in this regard. The idea is locked. The modalities are being worked out. An official announcement may be in the offing, sooner than later.”

Talking about landing roles, Karan Johar had us laughing out loud when he shared how Salman Khan readily agreed to play Aman in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Spilling the beans on the same, he said that Salman agreed to the project after hearing just the first half of the script. He said, “I got worried as I wondered if he thought I was offering him Shah Rukh’s role. I told him, Sir aapka role aaya nahi abhi tak.” Karan went on to say that for Salman, the role was immaterial as he knew Yash Johar was working on the film.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who gave us some of the best dramas, epic dance and battle sequences, grand sets, glorious slo-mo shirtless scenes and movies to watch over and over again, completed 25 years in Bollywood today. Everyone from Ranveer Singh to Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn and many other stars took to social media to raise a toast to the National Award-winning director and wished him the best for the years ahead.

You know you missed out on the party of the weekend when you see photos of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, the ultimate girl squad Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita and Malaika Arora partying it up with Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra. After what seems like an eternity in lockdown, these stars let loose and posed for more than a couple of happy pictures as they partied it up in style.
