Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Paudkone and John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ opened to a record breaking figure of Rs 56 crore nett at the domestic box office. The film is off to a flying start and fans of Shah Rukh Khan are making sure that the euphoria doesn’t die down anytime soon.

Videos of netizens dancing to the tunes of the blockbuster in theatres are going viral on the internet. ‘Pathaan’ has raked in over Rs 100 crore nett at the worldwide box office on its first day. The film is expected to grow by leaps and bounds today, because of Republic Day holiday. Considering these factors, ‘Pathaan’ will rake in a strong opening weekend collection. ‘Pathaan’ has beat the domestic collection of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’ (Rs 50 crore) and Yash’s ‘KGF: 2’ Hindi (Rs 52 crore).

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have reunited on the big screen after a long time for this Sidharth Anand directorial. Speaking about working with SRK, Deepika had shared, “Well, it’s always been incredible. I think what I feel for him I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express in words. For me, my relationship with him is it’s a feeling, it’s an emotion and it’s just lots of love and it’s unconditional. I think we’ve been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work on some incredible movies starting with Om Shanti Om. I started my career with him. And we’ve had the opportunity to do different kinds of movies together. And to actually see both of us in this space was very exciting for me and I’m sure it was for him as well.”
