CES 2022 to be held in-person in Las Vegas – Times of India

NEW DELHI: One of the biggest tech events is all set to return to an in-person format. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 will return to Las Vegas in an in-person format after this year’s all-digital format.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) confirmed that next year CES will be held in person in Las Vegas as coronavirus restrictions ease in the US.
The event will take place from January 5 to January 8, while the media days will take place from January 3 to January 4.
More than 1000 companies will be present at the event. These companies include Amazon, AMD, AT&T, Daimler AG, Dell, Google, Hyundai, IBM, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Samsung and Sony.
The Consumer Technology Association also revealed that users will be able to attend the event digitally as well. CTA also mentioned that the plans for the event will depend on the coronavirus safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Gary Shapiro, the association’s president and CEO, said in a release, “We’re thrilled to return to Las Vegas — home to CES for more than 40 years — and look forward to seeing many new and returning faces. Hundreds of executives have told us how much they need CES to meet new and existing customers, find partners, reach the media and discover innovation.”
