After eight months of the border clash at the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh, China has officially acknowledged the casualties of the clash and named officers and soldiers that were killed in the stand-off. The four soldiers were honoured by the Chinese leadership and China has shared details of four soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) who died during the Galway face-off with the Indian Army. “Four Chinese soldiers, who were sacrificed in last June’s border conflict, were posthumously awarded honorary titles and first-class merit citations, Central Military Commission announced Friday. A colonel, who led them and seriously injured, was conferred with an honorary title.”
