Megastar Chiranjeevi’s first look from his upcoming film ‘Bholaa Shankar‘ was unveiled on March 1, marking the festival of Maha Shivaratri. Billed as an entertainer, ‘Bholaa Shankar’ marks Chiru’s first-time collaboration with director Meher Ramesh. The film is also reportedly a remake of the Tamil movie ‘Vedalam.’

Donning a black checks shirt and black jeans along with googles in the poster, Chiranjeevi can be seen sitting on the front side of a jeep. He is seen holding a trident chain in his hand in first look. Keerthy Suresh will be seen essaying the sister of Chiru in ‘Bholaa Shankar,’ while the supporting cast also includes actors Tamannaah Bhatia, Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, P Ravi Shankar, Rasmi Gautam, Raghu Babu, Pragathi, Tulasi, Getup Srinu, and Satya, among others in pivotal roles.

Popular composer Mahati Swara Sagar has been roped in for the project, while Dudley is handling the cinematographer. The film is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara and Sunkara Ramabrahmam under the banner of AK Entertainments in association with Creative Commercials. It is likely to hit the big screens next year. Further details are awaited. Helmed by Meher Ramesh, ‘Bholaa Shankar’ is currently under making. Being the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Vedhalam’, the anticipation is high.

Chiranjeevi has a handful of movies now, of which ‘Acharya’ has been wrapped up and is all set for release soon. The actor is also shooting for ‘Godfather’, besides having a couple of more projects up his sleeve. Touted to be an intense political drama, this Mohan Raja directorial is said to be the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, and Chiranjeevi would reprise Mohanlal’s role.
