Amid the surge of Monkeypox cases, MD of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital Dr Suresh Kumar on August 02 congratulated their team for successfully discharging Delhi’s first case of Monkeypox. While talking to ANI, Dr Suresh Kumar said, “The patient tested for Monkeypox is from the African sub-continent and had a history of fever, skin eruption and rashes on different parts of the body. He has been kept in an isolation facility and a team of experts are taking care of him.” “We have successfully discharged the patient who was Delhi’s first case of Monkeypox. The man recovered in 25 days as all symptoms waned away. He went back being very healthy and happy,” he added.
