Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel, former CM Vijay Rupani and several Union ministers were present at the inauguration event.
PM Modi took a look at the facilities at the hospital, and said it will provide high-end medical equipment and world-class healthcare for people in the Saurashtra region.
PM addresses rally in Atkot
Addressing a large gathering, PM Modi said that although Gujarat gave him a “farewell” eight years back, there’s been no dearth of love for him.
Commenting on the NDA government at the Centre completing eight years, Modi said priority was given to good governance, and no room left for corruption or discrimination.
“These are your sanskaras, sanskaras of this holy land of revered Bapu and Sardar Patel that in 8 years no such thing was done even by mistake so that any citizen of the country has to bow his head. No stone was left unturned in the service of the motherland,” he said.
He recalled the government opening food grain stocks and launching free vaccination schemes to mitigate the Covid pandemic and the hardships it brought.
