Durga Ashtami 2020: Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shraddha Kapoor, Kajol and others celebrate the auspicious day – Times of India

Amidst the new normalcy due to the Covid-19 outbreak, BTown celebs like Shilpa Shetty and Shraddha Kapoor have celebrated Maha Ashtami with close family gathering. While Shilpa Shetty took to her social media handle to share a glimpse of the auspicious Kumari Puja celebrations, Shraddha on the other hand shared a platter of delicious sweets offered to the deity.

While Shilpa Shetty performed the Kanya Puja, she also ensured that all the safety precautions were taken. Taking to her Instagram handle she wrote, “Ashtami – Kanchika Pooja…On the auspicious occasion of Ashtami today, we were fortunate and blessed with our very own DEVI , Samisha, her first Navratri, so performed the Kanya Pooja, with her and 8 little girls, welcomed with all precautions taken..”

She also added, “Our way of paying gratitude to the Supreme Goddess Maha Gauri today and her nine divine forms. This year, however, we masked up and did the Pooja keeping all thsafety measures in mind, nevertheless, a beautiful feeling to serve and pamper these little girls
Jai Mata Di”

Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey also performed the auspicious Kumari Puja at his home with wifey Sheetal Thakur. Both flash their wide smiles as the camera captures them.

Vidya Balan treated her fans with another alluring picture of herself, showcasing her Ashtami look. The diva looks drop dead gorgeous as she poses with perfection. The actress also revealed that, it’s her favourite day of Navratri.

Kajol also took to her Instagram handle to share a glimpse of her Ashtami Puja.

Mouni Roy shared a sketching of Maa Durga made by her, on the auspicious day.

Shraddha Kapoor and Bipasha Basu on the other hand shared their Ashtami platter consisting of bowls of
puri, halwa and channa offered to the goddess.
