‘Ek Villain Returns’ is a huge hit at the UK box office – Times of India

‘Ek Villain Returns’ is sustaining well at the domestic box office and is also fetching a positive response at the global level. The thriller has sustained well on Monday in the United Kingdom circuits and the weekend collection stands at a whopping £130k. On Monday, the film added another £30k to this total, reports Boxofficeindia. The film dropped under 25 per cent and its four day total is £159k.

‘Ek Villain Returns’ may rake in over £225 at the end of its first week. This positive trend shows that
‘Ek Villain Returns’ has struck a chord with the audience in UK and may beat the collection of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ there.

Directed by Mohit Suri, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ features John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in lead roles. Speaking about sharing the frame with John, Arjun had previously told PTI, “He gave me that warmth and connection, and made me feel secure on the set… I didn’t need to impress him or anyone to make them think that I’m capable of standing next to John Abraham.” ‘Ek Villain Returns’ is a sequel to Suri’s 2014 film ‘Ek Villain’, which featured Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
