Several B-town celebs have been tested positive for COVID-19 of late and the latest one to contract the virus is actress Esha Gupta. And confirming the news, the stunning diva took to her Instagram handle and issued an official statement. In her statement, the actress wrote, ‘Despite the utmost precautions, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have been following the protocols and have isolated myself and am currently under home quarantine.’ While staying all positive, the actress further urged everyone to keep their mask on as she added, ‘I am sure I will come back stronger and better out of this. Please stay safe and mask up! Take care of yourself and others. Don’t forget to #MaskUp. I love you all.’ Notably, she has been diagnosed with COVID-19 after she recently visited Spain to celebrate New year with her beau Manuel Campos Guallar. Apart from Esha, singer Arijit Singh has also informed his fans that he and his wife have contracted the virus. Taking to his official Facebook handle, he wrote, ‘Me and my wife have tested Covid Positive. We are all perfectly fine and have quarantined ourselves.’ Now, talking about actress Nia Sharma, It’s no secret that Nia is not only among the most stylish and fashionable actresses in telly town but also a fabulous actress. However, there were times when she was ‘taken for granted’ and ‘treated like a mule’ while working in the television industry. In a conversation with an entertainment portal, the diva opened up on how she had to fight for her remuneration. While confessing that she had ‘worked in the most cringe conditions’, she said, ‘You work hard and you are begging for your payments. I have gone through that and I have fought. Like, ugly fights. I was the person, call it my bachpana (childishness) or whatever, I used to stand outside the studio. ‘Until my payment is made, I will not work.’ Yes, I have given those ultimatums because there was no other way my payment was going to be made. We have been made to beg, to cry, and to plead.’ She further added that she always fought for her right and never stepped down thinking that producers might blacklist her.
