She tells Bombay Times, “It is a very good thing that has happened. Finally after a long time a good news has come our way. Justice was long overdue for Sushant’s family as they were going through a lot.” She further adds, “To be honest, everybody deserves to know the truth. You know there have been just these stories made up by everybody on his death. Finally the truth will be out so people spreading these stories will be quiet now. Ab sabko pata chal jayega ki asliyat hai kya. Even I want to know the truth. Because, I am just tired of listening to everybody’s version of their own stories.”
Talking about how well she knows Sushant personally, Daisy adds, “I have met him a couple of times. We have a common friend. Actually, Sushant was a very good friend of my rakhi brother who stays abroad. So that’s how I knew him.”
