Family of Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian: We don’t know if it was a suicide – Times of India

Just under two months after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s former manager Disha Salian, her family has expressed their doubts whether the 28-year-old died by suicide, or if it was an accident.

In a statement to Times Now, Disha’s mother said, “We don’t suspect anyone.”

When asked if she thought her daughter’s death was a suicide, she said, “We don’t know if it was a suicide. It could be an accident too. Maybe she was sitting there, that could have happened too.”

Disha died after falling from her Malad highrise apartment in what was registered by the Malvani police as an accidental death.

According to a report on Mumbai Mirror, the police have urged anyone with information about Disha’s case to come forward.

On Wednesday, hours after the Supreme Court set a three-day deadline for the Maharashtra government to file a report pertaining to SSR’s death, the Mumbai police, in a press release asked people to approach the Malvani Police station in Malad, if they have any information regarding Disha’s death.

According to the report, the concerned police officers shall be contacted if a person has any kind of information related to the developments circulating on social media platforms, newspapers, etc.

On Monday, Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh stated that the cops had not found any link between the deaths of Sushant and Disha.

“We had visited the house of Disha Salian. There was a party going on with four other friends. We have the statements of the people present,” he said.

BJP leader Narayan Rane on Tuesday alleged that Disha ‘was raped and murdered’.

Addressing a press conference, Rane said: “Disha Salian did not commit suicide she was raped and murdered. One of the young ministers from the current Maharashtra government attended the party where Disha Salian was also present… Maharashtra Government trying to save the culprit.”

“Mumbai Police Commissioner must bring the truth about Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s murder,” he said.

Rane also claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput did not “commit suicide” and alleged that the actor was murdered.
