Google Pixel 6a vs Nothing Phone (1): Display
Google Pixel 6a features a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. And it comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Meanwhile, the Phone (1) flaunts a larger 6.55-inch flexible OLED panel having an FHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of between 60Hz to 120Hz. Also, Phone (1) has Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top of the display.
The OLED panel on two phones support HDR playback. But, the Nothing Phone (1) also supports HDR 10+.
Google Pixel 6a vs Nothing Phone (1): Performance
Under the hood, the Pixel 6a is powered by Google’s in-house Tensor chipset – the same chip powering the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The processor comes paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G+ powers the Nothing Phone (1). It is also available in different storage variants with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 778G+ brings wireless charging and reverse charging support to the Phone (1) – the two features missing from the Pixel 6a.
Both the smartphones are 5G-enabled.
Google’s Pixel 6a boasts a 4410mAh battery, while the Nothing Phone (1) has a tad bigger 4500mAh battery. Also, Nothing Phone (1) supports faster 33W charging compared to 18W charging support on Pixel 6a. However, do not get a charging adapter with both smartphones.
Both Pixel 6a and Phone (1) run Android 12. But, the Pixel 6a offers a stock Pixel experience and is posed to get faster updates in the future. Meanwhile, Phone (1) has a near to stock version of Android, namely Nothing OS, which is just stock Android apps with some added Nothing quirks.

The Google Pixel 6a comes at Rs 43,999 in India. However, one can get it for Rs 39,999 with an Axis Bank debit or credit card. The Nothing Phone (1) price in India starts at Rs 32,999, and the top-end variant is priced at Rs 38,999.
