Google Pixel 7a likely to come with upgraded camera and wireless charging: Report – Times of India

Google recently unveiled the flagship–Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. The search engine giant is reportedly working on the Pixel 7a smartphone. The upcoming smartphone is expected to launch in 2023. It is expected that Google Pixel 7a will come with upgraded cameras, wireless charging and other features.
Google Pixel 3a– the first A-series Pixel smartphone– was launched at an affordable price making the flagship experience accessible to users. Google afterwards unveiled the Pixel 4a 5G alongside the Pixel 5 smartphone offering almost identical features, but at different prices. For instance, both smartphones come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset and offer 90Hz refresh rate. The devices are water resistant and are built using a premium metal body. They also come with wireless charging technology.

According to Android researcher Kuba Wojciechowski, the Lynx Pixel 7a is tipped to be powered by the “P9222” chipset for wireless charging support. The chip is rumoured to be capable of 5W charging.
Google Pixel 7a: Expected camera features
The Google Pixel 7a is expected to sport a 50 MP Samsung sensor just like the Pixel 6 series. Other sensors could feature a 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 64MP telephoto lens. Perhaps, Pixel 7a would be the first handset to feature a telephoto lens. Only the “Pro” variants have had telephoto sensors.
