Haridwar’s most famous ghat Har Ki Pauri wore a deserted look on Makar Sankranti following the administration’s decision to ban the holy dips or ‘Snan’. The decision to ban holy dips was taken in view of rising Covid-19 cases. Entry to the Har Ki Pauri area has also been restricted while a night curfew was in force till 6 am on January 14.
