Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan held a meeting with state Health Ministers and officials of Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat via video conference on May 15 to review the current COVID-19 situation. “Last week between May 3-8, more than four lakh cases were reported for four consecutive days. In the last 4 days that number has decreased and the number of recovery cases has increased. Between April 30 and May 6, the positivity rate was 21.3% but this week it has come down to 19.3%,” Dr Vardhan said.
