ETimes had exclusively reported about Mouni Roy’s romance with businessman Suraj Nambiar and their wedding, which is scheduled for January 27. Now as we get closer to the date, the word is that the couple’s wedding ceremony will be held at a luxurious resort in Goa. In fact, a month ago, the bride-to-be Mouni Roy even had her bachelorette party in Goa which is her favourite destination. However, we also hear that the covid situation in the country might have hampered their wedding plans a bit. Reports suggest that the couple is inviting very limited guests for their wedding and all the guests are asked to carry their vaccination certificates. There are other reports stating that the actress is also asking the attendees to submit their RTPCR reports. Some confirmed guests at the ceremony would be Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, designer Manish Malhotra, actor Aashka Goradia, Anisha Verma, Shivani Malik Singh, Roopali Kadyan and Anuradha Khurana. Mouni Roy will reportedly host a reception at a later date in Mumbai for all those who have not been invited to this low-key wedding in Goa. About the wedding prep, ETimes had exclusively revealed how both the families’ dance rehearsals for the sangeet ceremony are on in full swing before everyone flies for Goa next week. On the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen on the big screen in ‘Velle’. The actress is eagerly awaiting the release of the Ayan Mukerji directorial ‘Brahmastra’ in which she is playing a negative role. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt & Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
