Hyderabad to host 2023 Conference of Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition – Times of India

JAIPUR: The 10 Annual National Conference of the Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ISPGHANCON 2023) will be organized in Hyderabad.
Its 9th edition was organized in Jaipur which was concluded on October 9, in which 5 pre-conference workshops – 3 workshops were organized on pediatric endoscopies to improve management in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at Surya Hospital, Santokba Durlabhji hospital and SR Kalla Hospital. Other two workshops were organized on radiology which was held at JK Lon Hospital and one on nutrition at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Organizing Chairperson, Dr R. K. Gupta, superintendent, JK Lon hospital, informed that these workshops were attended by more than 200 doctors.
Due to rise in gut and liver related issues in infantile and pediatric population the theme of this years conference was “Gut and Liver Emerging Trends”. The formal inauguration of the conference was held on October 8, at a city hotel, which was done by principal secretary (medical education department) Vaibhav Galriya. The special guest on the occasion were National President, ISPGHAN, Dr Neelam Mohan; Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) president, Dr. Ramesh Kumar R; Scientific President, IPA 2023, Dr. Santosh Sons; Registrar, RMC, Dr. Manish Sharma; President ISPGHANCON, Dr. Neelam Mohan; Secretary, ISPGHAN, Dr. Shirish Bhatnagar; President – IAP Jaipur Branch, Dr. A. A. Pathan; Secretary- IAP Jaipur Branch, Dr. S P Sethi; Organizing President, ISPGHAN, Dr. RK Gupta and Secretary, ISPGHAN, Dr. Lalit Bharadia.
