One of the latest technology trends in smartphones is the inclusion of fast charging. Recently, Chinese smartphone maker Realme introduced a smartphone with 150W fast charging support.
Now another smartphone maker has joined the bandwagon of fast charging phones. Infinix is all set to launch a smartphone with 180W fast charging support.
Last week Infinix teased the 180W fast charging technology called Thunder Charge via a small clip. The onscreen label on the short clip reads 180W Thunder Charge. The company hasn’t revealed any official charging speed and the time it will take to fully charge a battery. A new report has surfaced online revealing some more details.
Infinix fast charging smartphone’s details leaked online
According to tipster Paras Guglani in collaboration with Techyorker has revealed that Infinix will soon launch the Infinix Zero Ultra smartphone with 180W fast charging support in India. The smartphone is said to come with 4G support and tipped to pack 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The leak also suggests that the upcoming fast charging smartphone from Infinix is speculated to be priced under Rs 30,000.
The smartphone maker claims that the new fast charging technology will charge a 4500mAh battery in just four minutes. The 180W Thunder Charge has two separate charging modes — furious mode and standard mode. The furious mode can be activated with a click of a button. The company also claims that the 180W mode charges the batteries at a rate of 8C and also reduces the chances of battery overheating.
