Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt‘s wedding party last night was a starry affair with the closest of their industry folks arriving to celebrate their new beginnings and congratulate the newlyweds. From Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji to Anushka Ranjan, Luv Ranjan, Aditya Roy Kapur among many others were spotted arriving dressed in their best for the big night. Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor too were seen in the shiniest of outfits for the black theme party.

The party went on upto wee hours of morning and there was music, food and drinks. Riddhima Kapoor has shared a few pictures from the glitzy event in which she gave a glimpse of her newlywed brother who looked dapped in a black suit. Check out the pictures:

Ranbir and Alia’s wedding was an intimate ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance. The wedding festivities began with a mehndi ceremony on April 13. The Kapoor had a surprise sangeet for Alia on the same day and Ranbir too performed for Alia on her favourite numbers. Thereafter a small haldi ceremony was held next morning at RK house followed by wedding in the afternoon. Ranbir and Alia chose to take the pheras in their balcony which is their favourite spot in the house. After the wedding the couple made their first public appearance as husband and wife. Alia shared dreamy wedding pictures on Instagram and wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
