Ever since the director Ayan Mukerji released the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’, it has been trending on social media, garnering immense love and appreciation from fans. However, at the same time, the trailer was subjected to criticism too, due to one of Ranbir Kapoor’s entry scenes wherein the actor wore his shoes inside a temple. Ayan has now issued a clarification and said, ‘In our movie, Ranbir is not entering a temple, but a Durga Puja Pandal.’ He further added, ‘It is personally important for me to reach out to anyone who may have been upset with this image…because above all, Brahmāstra is created as a movie experience which pays respect to and celebrates – Indian culture, traditions, and history.’ For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
