Janhvi Kapoor left fans on the internet feeling all things emotional when she was clicked with a special throwback photo as her phone wallpaper.

A video doing the rounds online, sees the actress exiting a gym when she turned on her phone to check her notifications. Interestingly, the cameras captured a glimpse of her cute wallpaper that featured a throwback pic of her late mother, Sridevi. The old childhood pic saw Janhvi curled up in her mother’s lap as she smiled for a picture.

The happy throwback click made some fans emotional as they left a string of crying emojis and heart emoticons for the actress in the comments section. Others sent the beauty their love and wished her the best.


Early this month, Janhvi let fans and the media into her mother’s Chennai home, which featured a wall full of photos. While some pics were from Sridevi’s wedding to Boney Kapoor, others were from their family holidays abroad.

Janhvi, who most recently starred in the Hindi remake of the film ‘Helen’, was recently asked about the possibility of starring in one of her late mother’s films. To this, the young star said that she felt that no one will ever be able to match her mom’s legacy.

On the work front, Janhvi is currently busy shooting for a sports film Mr And Mrs Mahi. She also has the Varun Dhawan-starrer Bawaal, which is touted to be an intense action drama.
