Besides the stunning visuals, it was the punchy dialogue that caught everyone’s attention. The one that has gone viral online sees the superstar saying with a husky menacing voice, “Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar.”
Fans took to Twitter to tweet the dialogue with a bunch of fireball emoticons. Others took things a step further and hinted that it was a dig at former NCB chief Sameer Wankhede. “We know who this is aimed at,” wrote a fan in a post.
Another said, “Warning to my Son Sameer Wankhede: Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar.”

It was during the shoot of Jawan that Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan Khan was taken into custody by Sameer Wankhede, for his alleged involvement in a drugs case. However, Aryan was later given a clean chit and Sameer is now facing charges of corruption for demanding a Rs 25 crore bribe from the actor in order not to frame his son in the case.
In some more tweets, fans echoed director Karan Johar‘s sentiments about the trailer and called it ‘The trailer of the century!’ See what they had to say in the tweets below:
