J&K: 2-month-long training programme ‘Holistic Agriculture Development Plan’ begins in Budgam | News – Times of India Videos

A two-month long district-level training cum orientation programme on the ‘Holistic Agriculture Development Plan’ began in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is being organised by the Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendras. It will end on April 10, 2023. Experts in every field and Deputy Commissioner of Budgam Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid attended this training program. The purpose of the programme is to build the capacity of field functionaries in order to improve the socio-economic conditions of farmers of Jammu and Kashmir and to make growth in the agriculture sector in Union Territory. In the programme, officers gave awareness about the mechanisation of agriculture. High-density seeds with subsided rates will be provided to the farmers. These schemes related to agriculture and allied sectors are welfare-oriented schemes. Through this training programme, all deserving and eligible farmers across the district will get the benefits of the schemes. This imparting of training has pivotal importance to the budding farmers who need to increase agriculture productivity. Such types of awareness programmes are beneficial for the agrarian economy.
