‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ box office collection week 1: Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani starrer earns Rs 51 crore – Times of India

‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has concluded its first week at the box office on a positive note. Despite an average opening weekend, the movie continued to hold decently through the weekdays.

On Thursday, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ added Rs 3.25 crore to its kitty. At the end of its first week, the film stands at a total box office collection of Rs 51 crore, reports Boxofficeindia. ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has managed to perform decently in Delhi NCR and East Punjab circuits, with Mumbai also contributing positively. ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has raked in around Rs $3 mn overseas, which is also a good collection. The worldwide gross collection of ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ will be around Rs 85 crore.

Speaking about the box office response that ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has been getting, Varun had recently told ETimes, “Box office numbers are very important and everyone’s trying to get back to normal times. The times that we are right now in, the kind of love ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ is receiving, the kind of response it is getting the world over, is amazing. The box office is also happening and we’re getting so much love from people.” Directed by Raj Mehta, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ is a family drama featuring Varun, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in lead roles.
