A TimesNow investigation has found that a huge rally was held by the Muslim community a week before Kanhaiya Lal was murdered. It was in this rally that the murderous chant of ‘sar tan se juda’ were raised by the mob and reportedly three people including Kanhaiya Lal were identified as targets. Both the killers also attended this rally. Despite all this, the district administration refused to provide security to Kanhaiya Lal.
