Karan Johar penned a post of gratitude as the iconic Bollywood film, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ completed 27 glorious years. The filmmaker called the film his ‘Alma mater’.

Sharing a poster of DDLJ on his Instagram Stories, he wrote, ‘My Alma mater! My learning ground! My mentor Adi taught me so much #27yearofddlj.’ Karan has also played a small role in the film.
Besides Kajol, Shah Rukh and Karan Johar, the Bollywood iconic film also featured Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Mandira Bedi, Satish Shah and Pooja Ruparel, among others in pivotal roles.
Despite changing landscape of Hindi cinema, DDLJ is still regarded as one of the most loved and iconic movies in Hindi cinema.
