Kerala SSLC exam 2021: Government cancels IT practicals – Times of India

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at his routine online address here on Saturday said the government has decided to forsake the IT practical examinations, which the general education department was forced to postpone earlier owing to the sudden surge in Covid -19 cases. Other written examinations of Class 10 and 12 were held after the assembly elections were over on April 29. As per the original schedule, IT practical were to begin on May 5

“The marks for the IT practical examinations would be calculated on the basis of the average marks each student has scored in the practical examinations earlier”, Chief Minister said. The higher secondary and vocational higher secondary practical examinations would be held from June 21 to July 7, he added.

The answer book valuation of SSLC examination would be held from June 7 to June 25. The valuation of higher secondary and vocational higher secondary papers would be from June 1 to 19, CM said. According to him, the school reopening date could be decided only after considering the Covid situation.
