But did you know that the actress had to distance herself from the platform last year after the untimely death of her closed friend and ‘Raabta‘ co-star Sushant Singh Rajput? In a recent interaction with a news agency, Kriti opened up about it and said “It was difficult to mute the noise. But I had my people and family around me that always kind of helps. Last year, social media was the worst thing that had happened to us. It opened up so much chatter and noise.’ A few days after the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti penned an emotional note mourning the loss on social media after which people started to disect their equation and the actress faced massive backlash on social media.
