Apart from their successful careers, Madhubala and Kishore Kumar’s nine-year-long marriage has always been a talked-about subject. Reports suggest their relationship hit rock bottom when the legendary actress fell ill. However, in an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Madhubala’s sister Madhur Bhushan threw light on a different side of their relationship. She said, ‘He was her husband. He was, of course, affected by it. When they had gone to London for her diagnosis and found out that she only had 2 years to live, it affected Kishore bhaiya a lot.’ She further added that despite getting badly affected, Kishore Kumar chose to put up a brave face and not let his emotions get the better of him.
