In a video message released ahead of voting in Punjab, former prime minister Manmohan Singh has blamed the Modi government for mismanaging the economy of the country as well as the Covid-19 pandemic. Singh said that the poor policies of the Modi govt are to be blamed for rising unemployment and falling growth, yet the present regime keeps pointing fingers at first PM Jawaharlal Nehru. Manmohan Singh also said that even the foreign policy of this govt has been a total failure.
