‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ trailer: Rani Mukerji moves you as her character fights against the nation for her children – Times of India

The trailer of the much awaited Rani Mukerji film, ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ has been unveiled finally and it definitely leaves you slightly moved. It begins with Rani’s character Mrs Chatterjee, introducing her life with some happy moments with her children and husband. All’s well, until one day, her children are taken away.
The children are taken away by officials of the Norway Government claiming that the parents aren’t taking care of their children. The kids are being fed with the mother’s hands, while a ‘kaala teeka’ is put on them – are the claims made by them. The film revolves around Rani’s character fighting against an entire Norwegian government in order to get her children back. It’s also been told in the trailer that this is a whole strategy because the more kids they put in the foster system, the more money everyone earns.

The film is based on true events. Rani Mukerji already makes a very strong impact in the trailer itself and makes you empathise with her character. She seems pitch perfect in this glimpse itself and thus, making everyone look forward to the film. ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway‘ is directed by Ashima Chibber. Talking about the film, producer Nikhil Advani says, “It is a matter of pride and responsibility with which we have made our film and are delighted to bring the inimitable Rani Mukerji to our audiences.”

‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is set to release on March 17.
