nokia: HMD Global announces launch event on October 6, may bring Nokia G50 5G, T20 tablet and other devices – Times of India

HMD Global has announced it will host an event on October 6. Nokia has not revealed the name of smartphones that will be launched at the event. But rumours say that the company may bring Nokia G50 5G smartphone and a Nokia T20 Android tablet along with other devices.
The launch event was announced by the company via a post on the microblogging site Twitter. “Our family keeps growing. Coming 6.10.21”, the post reads.

Nokia G50 is rumoured to be a 5G smartphone. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor which also powers other Nokia phones like Nokia X20, Nokia X10, and Nokia XR20.
The handset is tipped to come with a 6.8-inch HD+ screen. Underneath, the device may pack a 4850mAh battery. It may be paired with fast charging support as well. As per leaked renders, Nokia G50 5G is expected to come with a triple rear camera. It may offer a 48MP primary camera paired with two other sensors.
Nokia may launch T20 Android tablet
At the event, Nokia is also expected to unveil an Android tablet. Likely to be called Nokia T20, the tablet is said to come with a 10.36-inch screen. It may pack 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity.
Nokia T20 will be the company’s first tablet since 2015 when it launched Nokia N1 Slate. The tablet is rumoured to come powered by a Unisoc processor and may run Android 11 out-of-the-box. The device may come in both WiFi and Bluetooth variants.
