HMD Global, the company that holds the license to manufacture and sell Nokia products, is set to launch a new tablet. Scheduled to be released on October 6, rumours have that the tablet is expected to be called Nokia T20.
The tablet was shown in a teaser on Nokia’s official Twitter account, giving a peep into the side profile. The official Nokia Mobile account (@NokiaMobile) has tweeted about the forthcoming launch of a new Nokia Tablet. The tweet reads, “Everything you’d expect from a Nokia phone in a tablet,” which suggests the Nokia’s tablet will try to create the same spot as it used to have for smartphones. The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the device, but it offers a glimpse at the design. The image suggests that the tablet features a flat frame, rounded corners, and a dark colour finish, which matches up with the specifications for the tablet that was leaked earlier this year with the name Nokia T20.
The tablet will be packed with a 10.36-inch display along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and a Unisoc chipset. As per rumours, it will boot Android 11. Connectivity includes features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. This will be a second attempt in the tablet segment from the smartphone manufacturers after 2015’s Nokia N1.
It is rumoured that the company may launch new handsets alongside the new tablet.
