Nokia XR21 design and specifications leaked: Here’s what to expect – Times of India

HMD Global is reportedly planning to launch a new rugged smartphone called the Nokia XR21, suggests a report from Winfuture.de. The new rugged will be an upgraded version of last year’s Nokia XR20. Although the device was previously referred to as the Nokia XR30, it has now been said to be dubbed Nokia XR21.
According to the publication, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The Nokia XR21 will feature a 6.49-inch LCD offering resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The smartphone will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Further, the XR21 will carry an IP68 dust and water-resistant certification. The smartphone will weigh 235 grams.
The rear camera setup includes a primary 64MP sensor from Omnivision and an 8MP sensor with zoom optics. It will have a 16MP sensor housed inside the centred punch-hole cutout.
This smartphone will launch with Android 12 out-of-the-box and will receive operating system updates until May 2026, with one more year for security updates.
The Nokia XR21 5G will come equipped with a 4800mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 33W. The smartphone will support Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, WiFi 6, and two NanoSIM slots alongside eSIM support. Furthermore, the XR21 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There is no word on when the Nokia XR21 will launch, but we can expect it to launch soon.
The Nokia X20 was launched in India a few weeks ago and is priced at Rs 46,999. The Nokia XR20 features a 6.67-inch touchscreen display boasting a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor powers it and is available in 6GB or 8GB RAM options. The phone runs on Android 11 and has a 4470mAh battery. The Nokia X20 has a 64MP quad-camera setup on the rear and a 32-megapixel front camera.
