In a Twitter post, SRK shared the clip of the upcoming song and wrote, “This is Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya…. want to thank Vaibhavi Merchant for bearing with my two left feet.And of course the talented Anirudh. #NotRamaiyaVastavaiya Full song out tomorrow!”
The clip features Khan in all-black as he hits the dance floor for the upbeat track composed by Anirudh. Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya is the third song of the album that also features Zinda Banda and the romantic number titled Chaleya, which was released earlier this month and is already a hit among the audience.
On Saturday, SRK conducted an #AskSRK session where he revealed that the makers are ready to drop the song sequence from the film and also ready to release the trailer. However, according to his post, the film’s team decided to release another song before dropping the trailer.
He wrote, “Ok guys time to go make the trailer as everyone wants that. @TSeries & @anirudhofficial & @Atlee_dir had wanted to put out song. Will leave a teaser now….& get @AntonyLRuben to work on trailer. Song is….Not …Ramaiya Vastvaiya. Bye for now love u all. #Jawan.”
The full version of the song will be out tomorrow, August 29.
Meanwhile, fans are now hyped about the trailer that, according to director Karan Johar, is “the trailer of the century.”
During SRK’s twitter session with fans, many were curious about the release of the trailer. Shah Rukh replied to one fan saying, “Trailer nahi aayega toh picture nahi dekhoge kya??!! Trailer trailer trailer ha ha. Aa jayega bhai saans toh Lele….#Jawan.”
Fans’ excitement reached new heights when KJo took to his handle and wrote, “I just saw the trailer of the century !!!! #iykyk.”‘
Karan did not mention ‘Jawan’ in his post. However, several fans assumed that he was talking about SRK’s film only. SRK’s fans also reposted his story and expressed their happiness and excitement about the film.
Jawan stars Shah Rukh and Nayanthara in the leading role with Vijay Sethupathi playing the antagonist. Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra also star in the film which will have a cameo by Deepika Padukone. Jawan is set to release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on September 7.
