CM Naveen Patnaik felicitated hockey players from Odisha who took part in Tokyo Olympics. A function was organised at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar to felicitate players from Odisha who were part of the men’s and women’s hockey team. Birendra Lakra and Amit Rohidas of the men’s hockey team were each given Rs 2.5 crore and post of Deputy SP for winning bronze medal. Women hockey players Deep Grace Ekka and Namita Toppo get Rs 50 lakh each for reaching the semifinals.
