Police responded to the scene at around 11:45 pm Friday, where they found four persons injured. One of them later succumbed to their injuries, while the others were hospitalized in serious condition.Three additional gunshot victims sought medical treatment later.
According to a police source, the assailants, who arrived in a car, fired shots before fleeing.
Sevran’s mayor described the incident as a dispute related to drug trafficking. Police have launched an investigation into the shooting, which they suspect was carried out by an organized group, but no arrests have been made so far.
