Oppo has started rolling out Android 12 updates for the Oppo F17 and the Oppo A73 smartphones. Both the smartphones are receiving the update in India and in Vietnam. Along with Android 12, the update also brings the latest ColorOS 12 to the smartphones.
The company claims that ColorOS 12 will offer an unburdened experience with smart technology. The new UI layer comes with a new design and enhanced privacy and security features. The new ColorOS 12 comes with a brand-new style acrylic icon, borderless design and new interface frame.
The latest OS skin from Oppo comes with a responsive design system and grid layout. ColorOS 12 offers quick-view cards or widgets. With the new OS skin, users can now add widget components they need like smart car search, nearby shops, IoT equipment and others.
ColorOS 12 also enables users to switch small windows with one click, and switch to full screen by double-clicking. It will also bring a new sidebar 2.0 which can intelligently match the corresponding functions such as helping you compare prices when shopping, helping you recognize music when listening to songs and more.
The smartphone maker is also asking users to backup their data before downloading the update. Users can also manually check for the update by going to Settings> About Phone> System update.
