RRR star Ram Charan is back in India after Naatu Naatu song from SS Rajamouli’s RRR, featuring him and Jr NTR, won Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles. The actor, who is still in disbelief about the phenomenon, said that his wife Upasana Konidela and his upcoming baby are his lucky mascots.
Ram along with Upasana landed in Delhi on Friday morning to a grand welcome by his fans at the airport. The couple are all set to welcome their first child soon. They announced their pregnancy in December 2022 after 10 years of marriage.

The two made their first public appearance at India Today Conclave where Ram spoke about Naatu Naatu’s big win at Oscars. “I didn’t touch down, but we touched down as a team. The whole RRR team touched down. And yes, it’s been a couple of hours, two days, and we are still soaking in all the excitement,” he said.

He further added, “I am still pinching myself and my wife (Upasana) is still pinching me saying ‘did it really happen yet? ye hua kya? She has been my lucky mascot and the 5-and-a-half-month-old baby inside her is even lucky for me.”

Upon his arrival in Delhi, Ram made sure to greet his fans through the sunroof of his car. He smiled and folded his hands as he made his way to his car. Speaking to reporters stationed outside the airport, Ram said, “I am pleased and happy. Thank you, everyone. We are proud of MM Keeravani, SS Rajamouli and Chandrabose. Because of their hard work, we went to the red carpet and brought Oscar for India.”
