When asked about the worst criticism she had received in her career, Raashii recalled people who nicknamed her ‘gas tanker’ for her body weight. She talked about her experience of bullying while struggling with PCOD.
While Raashii became fitter in time, she told Bollywood Hungama that it was done only because of her job requirement and not to please anyone. She went on to assert that bullying has never bothered her.
Raashii also revealed her struggle with Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) which added problems to her weight management. She said that it made her wonder why the body-shaming comments were bothering her and said, “I had issues, PCOD, all those jazz which everybody goes through. But that nobody knows, what they see is what they see on screen. So I can’t blame them. Initially, it did hit me.”
She added that being a spiritual person has helped her to get rid of such negative thoughts.
On the work front, Raashii is currently basking in the success of ‘Rudra’. She will be next seen with Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani in ‘Yodha’.
She also has an upcoming web series with Shahid Kapoor.
